For best results, 1-inch survey prisms deliver optimal accuracy at 30m(+/-100 ft) or less, making them ideal for short‑range precision work. That said, they remain highly reliable at 100m (+/-328 ft) and beyond, and in our own field use we’ve successfully used them in resections up to 400m (+/-1310 ft) with excellent results.
