Founded in 2022, Delta Construction Surveys began with one passionate construction surveyor determined to deliver precision field layout services to construction companies building in surrounding cities and communities.

Within our first year, we faced a major challenge: surveying a 34-story building and ensuring elevator shafts were perfectly plumb and dimensionally accurate. This task demanded only the best prisms and equipment.

It was at this time that we were introduced to SMR prisms—and it was a revelation. Why weren’t these advanced prisms standard in the industry decades ago? Their capabilities were unlike anything we had seen before. Yet, they were hard to find and prohibitively expensive.

That realization sparked a mission: to make high-precision SMR technology accessible and affordable for every surveyor.

After nearly three years of development and collaboration with JEOC, the Delta SMR Kit was born—a compact, versatile, and cost-effective solution designed for accuracy, repeatability, and ease of use.
